Valerie Madaffari

Valerie was born and raised in Connecticut. She attended her first Pilates class in 2006. After that initial class, she decided to learn everything about the Pilates Method. Over the years, she attended a wide range of methods which included mat, reformer and Pilates apparatus classes. Additionally, she took many private lessons and gained invaluable knowledge from expert teachers. Those lessons helped her improve her personal practice and learn the value of moving with precision and grace. Valerie brings her years of personal practice and her love of Pilates to her students. Her mission is to improve her student’s physical strength, flexibility and posture as well as their mind and body awareness.

Valerie received her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from the College of New Rochelle, New York in 1992. After working as a nurse, she returned to school and completed her Masters of Science degree in Nursing at Fairfield University, CT. Upon graduation, she was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked as a nurse practitioner with a specialty in cardiology since 2005. In 2012, she completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree at Fairfield University, CT. After graduating, she relocated to Southern California to continue her career.
