Deanna Lund

Pilates Teacher • Yoga • Barre • Personal Trainer

At a young age Deanna fell in love with dance. After years of study and training, she performed and choreographed many pieces in college as well as in communities throughout southern California.

Over the years, she attended multiple workshops where she developed and honed her skills working with professional dance companies such as Jean Isaacs, Pilobolus and Gus Girodano. As a former dancer, Deanna has a complete understanding of body movement. Teaching Pilates was a natural progression of her dance background.

As a movement professional, Deanna educates her students on the importance of improved body awareness and proper alignment. She is adept at implementing her intuitive knowledge of the movement principles of Pilates in her classes. Her knowledge and understanding of the body also facilitated her recovery from a car accident in 2007.

She enjoys working with a variety of individuals, from elite to recreational athletes as well as those recovering from injuries. Her greatest teaching joy is to watch her students grow stronger, mentally and physically, through increased confidence.

Deanna loves spending time with her dogs, Finnigan and Pax, writing and loves to catch the sunset after a long hike in the hills.
